Getting started

Create a wsky1 account and add your first bottle in about 90 seconds, then read your collection's live auction valuation.

This walks you from zero to a valued collection: create an account, add your first bottle through the three-step picker, and read your portfolio total. No card required — the free plan covers your first 3 bottles.

1. Create your account

  1. Go to wsky1.com and click Get started (top-right of the header).
  2. On the signup screen, either:
    • Click Continue with Google, or
    • Fill in Name, Email, and Password and submit.
  3. You land in your portfolio. Signing up takes no payment details — you start on the Free plan (up to 3 bottles, 12 months of price history).

Already have an account? Use Sign in instead.

2. Add your first bottle

From your portfolio, click Add bottle to open the three-step picker:

  1. Distillery — start typing a distillery name (e.g. Lagavulin) and pick it from the list. You can also paste a full bottle name like Brora 1982 and wsky1 jumps straight to that distillery's releases, pre-filtered.
  2. Bottle — choose the exact release from the distillery's catalog entries. Picking one pre-fills the vintage, age, ABV and bottle size.
  3. Details — confirm or adjust the pre-filled fields and optionally record what you paid (Price paid), then click Add to portfolio.

Can't find your exact bottle? Add it manually from the same flow — your entry is saved so the next collector searching for it finds it too.

Field rules

The numeric fields are optional, but if you fill them in they're checked on the spot:

Vintage / bottling year A whole year between 1700 and the current year (bottled year can't precede the vintage)
Age 0–120 years
ABV Between 0 and 100%
Size 1–6000 ml
Price paid Not negative

3. Read your valuation

Your portfolio leads with a single headline: the total estimated value of every bottle you track, with the change versus what you paid (e.g. ▲ £420 (+12.3%) vs £3,400 paid). Each bottle carries its own point estimate and confidence band.

4. Share it (optional)

On your portfolio, click Make shareable to mint a read-only public link (/share/<token>). The shared card shows anonymised headline numbers only — your first name and last initial, total value, bottle count, and top bottle — never your full bottle list or purchase prices. Click Copy share link to share it, or toggle it off to revoke the link. See Share your portfolio for the full details.
