Why it matters

Most collectors have no idea what their whisky is worth

The bottle you bought five years ago might be unchanged — or up 200%. Without auction-grade data, you're guessing.

What it actually does

Four things. Well. Instead of forty badly.

1

Live auction valuations

Your portfolio is repriced daily against hammer data from major auction houses — Scotch Whisky Auctions, Whisky Hammer, Just Whisky, Whisky-Online, and more.

2

Twelve months of trend

Every bottle gets a price-history chart, sourced from real lots. See whether the move is gradual, recent, or a one-off spike.

3

Built for collectables

Limited, discontinued, age-stated, ghost-distillery — that's our focus. Core ranges and tasting-note apps don't tell you what something is worth.

4

Drink it, sell it, decide later

We don't push you to list or sell. Track value privately, on your terms. Your collection list is never shared with auction houses.

Three steps. One of them is on us.

01

Search your bottle

Type a distillery and pick from the catalog. Distillery, age, vintage and bottler are pre-filled — you don't have to squint at the bottle neck.

02

Enter what you paid

So we can show your portfolio gain or loss. Skip it if you're tracking value only — you can always add cost basis later.

03

We track the market

Daily price refresh from major auction houses. Your valuation updates in the background. You do nothing — which, frankly, is ideal.

Frequently asked

Questions people actually ask

What is wsky1?

wsky1 is a portfolio tracker for collectable whisky. You add the bottles you own, and we value them daily against hammer prices from major auction houses.

How is the valuation calculated?

Each bottle is matched against a canonical key (distillery, age, vintage, bottling year, bottler, cask, edition). We show the latest hammer price when we have a bottle-specific match, and fall back to a distillery-level market mean when we do not.

Where does the price data come from?

We aggregate public auction data from Scotch Whisky Auctions, Whisky Hammer, Just Whisky, Whisky-Online and 28+ other houses via WhiskyHunter. Price history refreshes daily.

Is my portfolio data private?

Yes. Your collection is visible only to you. We don't sell collector lists, share holdings with auction houses, or publish anonymised portfolios.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan covers up to 3 bottles with 12 months of price history, forever, with no card required.

How much does the paid plan cost?

£8 per month for the Collector plan: unlimited bottles, full price history, priority daily refresh, and price-change alerts.
