wsky1 has one free plan and one paid plan. This page covers what each includes, how to upgrade and manage billing, the price-change alerts, and how to export or delete everything we hold about you.

The Free plan is genuinely free — no card, and no "trial ends in 7 days". You only add a card if and when you upgrade. Full breakdown on the public pricing page.
Upgrade to Collector
You upgrade from inside your portfolio, at the moment you need it:
- When your cellar hits the 3-bottle limit, the + Add bottle button becomes Upgrade to add more → (there's also an Upgrade for unlimited → link in the free-plan notice).
- Clicking it opens a secure checkout. Before you click, wsky1 shows a billing note: £8/mo, cancel anytime. Secure checkout powered by Polar — the payment page shows "usefulagents" as our merchant of record. That's expected — Polar (via usefulagents) is the payment processor, so it's the brand you'll see on the payment page, not a surprise.
- After payment you're returned to your portfolio, now on Collector — unlimited bottles, full price history, priority daily refresh, and price-change alerts.
Nothing you already tracked is deleted when you upgrade (or later downgrade — your first 3 bottles always stay).
Price-change alerts
On Collector you get price-change alert emails — a per-user portfolio digest that flags how your bottles have moved at auction, sent from alerts@wsky1.com on a weekly cadence (Monday mornings, UTC). It's the "tell me when something moved" signal a spreadsheet can't give you. Free-plan users get a limited preview that points to upgrading for the full set of alerts.
Manage billing & your account
Your Account page lives at /app/account (wsky1.com/app/account). It shows your email and current plan, and has three sections:
- Subscription — Open billing portal → takes you to the Polar customer portal to update your card, change, or cancel your subscription. Cancelling drops you back to Free (you keep your first 3 bottles; you lose full history and the alert emails).
- Export your data — Download my data (JSON) produces a single JSON file of everything wsky1 stores about you (your bottle list, sessions, and account info). Handy as a backup, or before deleting.
- Delete account — permanently deletes your account, your bottles, and all session/auth records. This cannot be undone, and you confirm twice before it runs.
If you're on Collector, cancel your subscription in the billing portal before deleting your account, so you're not left with an active subscription after the account is gone.
Notes & limits
- Currency is GBP. The Collector price is £8/mo; the amount charged comes from the Polar checkout.
- Downgrading keeps your first 3 bottles. You don't lose data by dropping to Free — you lose unlimited tracking, full history, priority refresh, and alerts.
- Export before you delete if you want to keep a copy — deletion is irreversible.
