- Valuation method: Each bottle is matched against a canonical key (distillery, age, vintage, bottler, cask number, edition). We surface the most recent bottle-specific hammer price if we have one; otherwise fall back to a distillery-level monthly median.
- Refresh cadence: Daily at 03:00 UTC, via a Cloudflare Workers scheduled cron trigger.
- Currency: All prices in GBP (British pounds sterling), excluding buyer's premium (typically 24–28% additional at major houses).
